Modern warehousing:

9 Raben Distribution Centres in Poland constitute about 215 000 m2 of warehousing area with various storage conditions, including:

• separate zones for food and non-food products,
• zones with controlled temperature,
• separate rooms for dangerous goods (ADR).

Warehouses of Raben in Poland are equipped with:

• multi - level storage racking system,
• computerised administration of stored goods,
• modern inner transport,
• 24-hour security service and procedures of monitoring objects.

Warehousing service:

In our warehouses we provide services of unloading and accepting goods, controlling quality and quantity of goods at the same time.
This process is facilitated by an automation of warehousing activities, such as :

• scanning in the process of accepting goods and checking releases of goods,
• taking advantage of the RF (radio frequency) technology,
• possibility of the identification of data from labels according to EAN 13 and EAN 128 standards.

Goods for shipping can be prepared in various ways: homogenous pallets, mixed pallets and parcels.

Extra warehousing services include:

• foiling and labelling (also of non-standard sales units),
• repacking,
• preparing promotional units.

Administering goods and preparing consignments:

The whole process of storage and distribution is administered in detail. The professional stock management system makes it possible to:

• actively manage warehouse stocks,
• release products according to the rules of FIFO, BBD, PROD or any other rules agreed individually with a Client,
• control by system e.g. expiry dates of products, production batch numbers, serial numbers of pallets, (the history of operations available also after the release of goods from warehouses),
• interchange electronic data with Clients (EDI links) due to which the information can be transferred in a real time,
• commission goods on pallets and prepare consignments,
• report in detail to Clients.

Distribution:

From warehouses of Raben companies we deliver goods of various volume - from a single parcel to full truck loads - to a given address. Our standards in distribution include:

• deliveries to network consignees - regular and defined windows for deliveries,
• exchange of Euro pallets at consignees,
• return of signed delivery documents,
• adjustment of transport conditions to individual needs.

We are effective in the distribution:

• in a form of direct deliveries,
• in a groupage system, with reloading at terminals.

We provide to Clients additionally the service of cross-docking. We have also experience in the distribution from Clients' warehouses.
